RAND 4500 lb CAPACITY 12V WINCH COMMERCIAL DUTY WITH ROLLER FAIRLEAD This new Rand 4500#, 12V electric winch gives the ability to drag up to 4500 pounds of dead weight with a single line pull, and 9000 pounds of dead weight using the included snatchblock. Note that this is dead-line weight, not the "rolling weight" that most other winches specify. Dead line weight is the true measure of the pulling power of a winch. It is MUCH easier to pull rolling weight, than to drag dead weight! (Like a truck stuck in deep mud.) Since it is operated with 12 Volts DC, it is compatible with any automotive electrical system. It is constructed with an integral heavy-duty steel chassis, that allows you to solid mount the winch to your vehicle bumper to assist in retreiving stuck vehicles, or mounting on a boat trailer for loading large boats, or in a car trailer for loading cars. Remote control switch makes operation easy with power in and out, or free-spool using the clutch release.
